In October of 2023 a former Lincoln algebraist Dr Sandro Mattarei took up an Associate Professor position at University of Milano-Bicocca (Italy). The colleagues and friends at Lincoln School of Mathematics and Physics thank Sandro for all the great work that he has done in Lincoln and wish him best of luck in further career in mathematics and education!
Lincoln algebraists and Sandro continue close research and educational contacts. Sandro has now been appointed a Visiting Senior Fellow in Mathematics at University of Lincoln.
