International algebraic conference “Permutation groups” held at the University of Lincoln

On 15th December 2023 the University of Lincoln hosted an international conference “Permutation groups”, organised by Dr Simon Smith at the University of Lincoln, Dr Nadia Mazza at the University of Lancaster and Prof Dawid Kielak at the University of Oxford.

The speakers were:

• Dr Melissa Lee (Monash University, Australia)  
• Dr Scott Harper (University of St Andrews, UK)  
• Dr Colin Reid (WWU Münster, Germany)

The organizers Simon Smith, Nadia Mazza and Dawid Kielak are part of a Joint Research Group “Functor Categories for Groups“, funded by a London Mathematical Society Scheme 3 grant. This conference is one of three organised by the joint research group in 2023-2024. This conference in Lincoln was also supported by the EPSRC grant of Simon Smith.
