- UK Fusion CDT Webinar

- Escape Room

The aim of the activity is to challenge the students of the School of Maths and Physics by having them solve in group an escape room problem. These are usually very fun to partake in and bring together in a live situation people of different abilities to solve a problem together. If you don’t cooperate the survival of the group might be at stake!

- How to choose your final year project?

The session aims at informing 2nd year students of the School of Mathematics and Physics going into their final year (for BSc students) about the final year project component of their degree. Since it appears usually as a daunting task to choose wisely the project subject, willing finishing 3rd students are going to present their experience with the project and what they would recommend to their fellow Level 2 classmates

The session brings the students from the school of Mathematics and Physics into a competition between groups of 4-5 students working together to create a short 10s-20s video as seen on social media like TikTok or Youtube Stories to illustrate in an imaginative and fun way the catchphrase “I am doing Maths/Physics in Lincoln. And you?”
